Leo van Vliet withdrew from the DCA board

After Leo van Vliet had left the DCA board – he will take over another sector of priority at Visser and Smit Hanab b.v. – the position of treasurer of the association
was vacant.

The DCA thanks Leo van Vliet for his excellent cooperation at the board. Soon a successor was found among his fellow board members: Jürgen Muhl of Step Offshore. This reshuffle required replacing the representative for the care of members. This position will be filled by Marc Schnau of Bohlen & Doyen GmbH, Wiesmoor.
Marc Schnau is 36 years old, married for six years and proud father of a little daughter.

After his studies of civil engineering he started his professional career as site manager at Bohlen & Doyen GmbH from Wiesmoor. From general civil engineering he changed to the pipeline division and ended up with the horizontal directional drilling technology in 2003. Meanwhile he is in charge of the HDD department. “Although or even because this technology keeps producing surprises and destroying time schedules, I cannot imagine any other job being as interesting and thrilling as this. I hope that through my work within the DCA board I can help to keep improving the quality and to develop applicable and practicable guidelines on the other hand, which enable the members to produce that demanded quality”, says Schnau.
